My girlfriend, Jen Torresson made this for one of her sons.  Isn't is adorable.  I love the ribbons.  Jen and I met when we both lived in Northern California and now we are in NJ and she lives in Michigan.  Her father-in-law lives in Moorestown, NJ, so they do come out here occasionally.  Hopefully, we can meet up soon to catch up and swap ideas!

Fourth of July!

Happy 4th of July!!  I hope everyone has a great day.  For some reason our town doesn't have a parade and fireworks until the 5th.  I don't understand that, but the kids want to go to the parade, so that is the plan for Saturday.  Hopefully, I'll have a page up by Monday for you to check out!

I created this for my customer/hostess appreciation brunch.  Only my hostesses got to make this one though.  I tweaked the idea from a much larger version done with cardboard, but decided it would be more fun to put it on cork, then it could be used with push pins as well.  There are 3 pockets for notes or photos.  I will miss the dsp Spring Break (pg 168) when it is gone!
