I know I said I would get the photo and directions up here today, but it isn't happening. Also, it
dawned on me that the butterfly is from the tag punch and the word window. I did use the scallop for a heart though. So, I hope to have all that done by the end of the weekend if time permits! (Or if I steal it away late at night like I normally do.) In the meantime, I hope you like the layout of 2 of my boys mowing the lawn. These are some of my husband, John's favorite photos and I finally scrapped them. They are over two years old and the little guy there is now 5. Enjoy!
I cased this color scheme and layout from my up-upline Tina. So I have 10 cards to g
o to 10 lucky people. Will you be one of them? Possibly, you'll have to wait and see!!! I hope to send them out this weekend! This is a level 2 hostess set in the current SU Catalog. Check back soon for information on how to use your scallop punch to make a butterfly!
My girlfriend, Jessica, just had another baby girl!!! Congratulations to you and your family.
I made this card for Jessica who is a huge scrapper and very creative. At first I didn't love the card, but the more I look at it - or the photo of it - I love it! I think I will use the sticky letters and beads more often for more projects. It just adds so much cuteness (is that a word?) to the card!
I am working on giant clothespins
this week for the Teacher's Thank You Luncheon at my sons' preschool. It is a "Ho Down" theme, so I went with the stars. I am also making a slider card with a chili packet inside. I hope they like them. This will be a super crazy/busy week with all that is going on. We have our Crop Weekend coming up, but before then, I have things to do and plan. I'll keep you posted as I can!
I was so tired of my ribbon getting intertwined, so I decided to make this cute holder.
It wasn't that hard, just a little time consuming. I used the jumbo eyelets, drilled holes with a 3/8 drill bit and them used my eyelet setter to set them. If I had the larger crop-a-dile, that would have worked, but.... It fit all 16 of the 1/4 grosgrain, 6 in colors, the taffeta ribbon and a few more. I was able to fit two rows on the inside. Now my ribbon is organized and I don't have to spend time untangling it!!
I am so excited to be able to attend the Stampin' Up convention this year! Thanks to my husband who is super supportive and taking time off to watch our boys!! What a great guy ~ he really has been on my side with being a demonstrator and trying to come home and help with the kids when I have a class or whatever! I don't know how I got so lucky, but I am. Anyway, I will be attending convention with my good friend and upline, the great Jen Peel. I look forward to learning new ideas and meeting new people and coming back to share with whomever will listen! Here is a cute photo of my boys: Eric, hubby John, and JP. My secret sister from February made it for me, and it is one of my favorites!
